Section 6 Scalable central measurement procedure
Our website uses the scalable central measurement procedure (SCMP) from the company INFOnline (https://www.infonline.de) for determining key figures about use of our websites. Measurements are collected anonymously. To re-recognise computer systems, the SCMP range measurement alternatively uses either a cookie with the label ivwbox.de or a signature, which is generated from various automatically transmitted information from your computer. IP addresses are not saved during this procedure and are handled in their anonymised form. The range measurement was developed in consideration of data privacy. The aim of range measurement is to statistically calculate the frequency of use and the number of users to a website. At no time are individual users identified. Your identity is always protected. You will not receive any advertisements via the system. For websites that are members of the German Audit Bureau of Circulation (IVW www.ivw.eu) or are participating in the ‘internet facts’ study by the Working Group for Online Media Research (AGOF www.agof.de), usage statistics are published monthly by the AGOF and the Working Group for Media Analysis (ag.ma - www.agma-mmc.de) and the IVW and can be seen at http://www.agof.de, http://www.agma-mmc.de and http://www.ivw.eu. In addition to publishing measurement data, the IVW also regularly checks that use complies with the rules and data privacy. More information about the SCMP can be found on the INFOnline GmbH website (https://www.infonline.de), which runs the procedure, the data privacy website of the AGOF (https://www.agof.de/datenschutz) and the data privacy website of the IVW (http://www.ivw.eu).
